SolidWorks – Network Policy Changes

Tier pricing and consolidated pricing for both SolidWorks & CosmosWorks standalone and network license will be eliminated
- Under the old policy SolidWorks and CosmosWorks network licenses cost up to 12% more than a standalone.
- New policy change will eliminate this cost.
A flat, one-time fee of $2000 will be instituted to create a NEW Network Installation.
Networks established before June 2nd are not affected by the new, one-time fee of $2000.
SolidWorks eliminated cost to convert a standalone license to existing Network Installations
- Under the old policy, SolidWorks license cost a $500 per license conversion and CosmosWorks licenses cost $1000 per license fee.
- New policy change will eliminate the cost to convert licenses to a network.
- The new $2000 fee only imposed if converting to a NEW Network Installation.
- Addons (PhotoWorks, FeatureWorks, Routing, eDrawings, Animator, Toolbox, PDMworks contributor) still carry the same cost to convert.
