In the high-tech and electronics industry today we’re putting more and more complexity and power into smaller and smaller packages, and this creates tough engineering problems to solve. Collaboration between mechanical and electronic design needs to be seamless, with tight space requirements, and thermal cooling solutions, and shock and vibration resistance need to be designed to perfection. SOLIDWORKS has a range of interoperable design tools, developed specifically to meet these challenges head on.

Meeting these goals means working in an environment capable of handling everything from PCB and electrical design to CAD-embedded validation of cooling and dynamic studies, which you can do without leaving the SOLIDWORKS ecosystem.

AM Session: Heat, Cooling, Shock, Vibration… Electronics Design Validation

  • Thermal Management of Electronics enclosures, using Computational Fluid Dynamics to take heat out of your designs
  • Vibration testing including Harmonic and Shock loads and Random Vibration

PM Session: Fast, 3D and 2D bi-directional association for  PCB schematic and layout design!

  • Design Synchronization between the schematic and PCB can be very tedious, with the SOLIDWORKS PCB unified platform, you can streamline the process and changes between the schematics and PCB
  • SOLIDWORKS PCB enables complete integration and bidirectional change management between traditional PCB design tools (including Altium) and 3D mechanical models

Join us on Tuesday, September 19 in Santa Clara from 10am-3pm. A complimentary buffet lunch will be served.

This is a no-charge event, however the session is limited to 50 people, so please RSVP today and we will reserve your place!
