SOLIDWORKS Online Training
SOLIDWORKS Essentials - Online
The same content as the SOLIDWORKS Essentials classroom course, this course is online and eight 4-hour days. This course teaches the basic fundamentals of using SOLIDWORKS. The course is run over eight days – basic solid modeling concepts are covered as well as 2D drawings, assemblies, sheet metal, and advanced modeling techniques. File management, user resources, and exporting information are also covered.
SOLIDWORKS Assembly Modeling - Online Class
This is the Online version of our SOLIDWORKS Assembly Modeling class, which offers the same content. This course is a comprehensive treatment of Assembly Modeling functionality that is not taught in SOLIDWORKS Essentials. Learn best practices approaches and how to maximize assemblies to efficiently and effectively communicate virtual prototypes to your audience.
SOLIDWORKS Routing: Electrical - Online training
This course teaches how to use the Routing component included in SOLIDWORKS Premium to create electrical wires, cables, and wire harnesses. Creating libraries of connectors, wires, and clips is covered. Also how to create peg-board layouts and detailed drawings of harnesses complete with wire cut lengths and a schedule of all connectors, and pin connections is demonstrated.
SOLIDWORKS Routing: Piping and Tubing - Online training
This course teaches how to use the Routing component included in SOLIDWORKS Premium to create pipes, as well as rigid and flexible tubing. Learn how to use libraries of flanges, tees, valves and reducers to flesh out a fluid route. Also covered is making detailed drawings with a list of components needed to run a route.
SOLIDWORKS Composer - Online training
Learn the fundamental skills and concepts to use SOLIDWORKS Composer software to create 2D and 3D output from CAD design data. Discover how to create views such as vector line art and raster images. Explore creating animations that could be used for service/assembly procedures, marketing, training etc.
SOLIDWORKS Sheet Metal - Online
This course covers sheet metal design and detailing. Learn how to create forming tools from scratch. Create a detailed 2D drawing showing flat and bent states. How to import and export sheet metal files. Also covered is modeling sheet metal within an assembly and multi body sheet metal files.
SOLIDWORKS Weldments training
This course covers how to quickly create welded structures out of extruded members and plate components. Automatically generating cut lists and creating plan views of items. Weld beads, gussets and end caps are also covered.
SOLIDWORKS Simulation - Online training
An introductory course on the linear static stress finite element analysis. The covered material includes the entire analysis process from meshing to evaluation of results for parts and assemblies, gap/contact analysis, best practices and others.
SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional - Online training
An extension to the linear static finite element analysis focusing on frequency, buckling, heat transfer and thermal stress analyses, drop test, optimization, fatigue and pressure vessel analysis.
SOLIDWORKS Simulation Pro Bundle - Online training
This course is on Simulation + Simulation Professional, combining the introductory course on the linear static stress finite element analysis along with the extension of analysis capilities in SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional.
SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation - Online training
This class offers the same content as the in-classroom version. This class is designed to give a comprehensive hands-on overview of the core concepts of doing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation. This class is designed for new users of the Flow Simulation tool, and explores the key elements of performing fluid flow analysis, including model preparation, mesh optimization, heat transfer and result post processing.
SOLIDWORKS Simulation Plastics - Online training
This course is designed to teach the core skills required to perform plastic injection molding analysis with the SOLIDWORKS Plastics simulation tool. Attendees to this class should be familiar with general concepts of the injection molding process. You will learn the essential steps of performing a mold filling analysis - meshing, setting processing parameters, and reviewing results for potential defects or molding issues. Topics covered include predicting and addressing air traps, short shots, sink marks, as well as optimizing multi cavity molds and cooling time. Advanced topics in predicting cooling and assessing warp can also be covered. Training topics from all levels of the SOLIDWORKS Plastics offering (Standard, Professional, Premium) are covered in this one day course, and it will provide a solid grounding in the core skills required to run any sort of injection molding analysis.
SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium Dynamics - Online training
This course is designed to extend the user's knowledge of the SOLIDWORKS Simulation tool to include the use of dynamic analysis tools - for time dependent, frequency dependent, and random vibration dynamic situations. The SOLDIWORKS Simulation user will learn techniques, tips and strategies relative to dynamic analysis.
SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium Non Linear - Online
This course is designed to extend the user's knowledge of the SOLIDWORKS Simulation tool to include the use of the use of nonlinear material types, and nonlinear material models. The user will be exposed to a number of typical analysis situations, and learn advanced techniques specific to nonlinear analysis.
SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation Electronics Cooling - Online training
This course addresses the capabilities of Flow Simulation that are specific to the analysis of electronic and electric cooling systems. The 3-hour class covers capabilities that are available in every license of SolidWorks Flow Simulation, but a further 30 minutes of bonus content on capabilities available with the SolidWorks Flow Simulation Electronics Cooling (EC) Add-on module is included at the end of the session.

CAMWorks 2.5 and 3 Axis Milling - Online training
This class teaches the essential skills for using the CAMWorks software solution. You learn the basic interface and how to generate tool-paths, change tools and then posting the program. Set up patterns, fixtures then customize the tool to work with your machines and toolcribs.
CAMWorks 4 & 5 Axis Milling - Online training
This class teaches how to use CAMWorks for programming multi-axis CNC machines. Learn how to make toolpaths for complex shapes that cannot be machined using a 3 axis machine. This is for more complex processes such as undercut machining and complex rotary and tilting applications.
CAMWorks Turning - Online training
This class teaches the essential skills for using CAMWorks software. Learn the basic interface and how to generate tool-paths, change tools and post CNC g-code. This will cover all of the basic turning functions to program a CNC lathe.
CAMWorks Multi-Tasking Mill-Turn - Online training
This class teaches how to use CAMWorks to program multi-tasking machining centers. Learn CAMWorks 2 and 4 Axis multi-tasking software for programming CNC Mill-Turn machines. CAMWorks Mill-Turn multifunction machining includes milling and turning capabilities within the same machine.
CAMWorks CNC Milling 101 - Online training
The goal of the class is to give all the tools between SOLIDWORKS and CAMWorks and Machining 101 to successfully cut a part. We plan to reference CAMWorks a great deal during this class, but this is not intended to replace any CAMWorks specific training. CAMWorks examples are in regard to everything above to help explain things.
